Founded in 1937 by Jack McNaughton and soon joined by his two brothers Max and Noel, McNaughton Windows and Doors quickly became a leader of New Zealand’s timber window and door market. Uniquely, MJN McNaughton Ltd (Incorporated in 1947) continues to trade as the same company incorporated all those years ago demonstrating an unwavering customer commitment.
For over 85 years we’ve built a reputation supplying products of exceptional quality in an efficient, seamless manner. We specialise in manufacturing timber joinery for architecturally designed new build and renovation projects. Our philosophy is to support the best people with the best environment and to never stop innovating.

Awards
This was our third build and the largest house we’ve done so far. When you build a house of this size, the relationship you form with suppliers and builders is critical. We obviously had prices from other joinery companies, very similar prices, but what really impressed us was the team at McNaughton. High quality product together with the level of service we received right from our initial meeting set this company apart. That service carried on throughout the entire build. They were really very enjoyable to work with.
